The Buffalo Stars are pleased to announce that goaltender Daniel Wenner has been offered a contract with the Motor City Chiefs in Detroit. The Chiefs play in the Tier 3 Junior A Central States Hockey League.
The 2009-2010 Virginia Express Junior B team is expecting up to 15 returning players this season. Combine that with blue chip players returning to the area and a few bright young players and the Express hopes to turn some heads this season.

The Buffalo Stars Continental Junior C Hockey Team closed another successful year as they went on to compete in the USA Hockey Junior C National Championships for the second consecutive year. The skeptics were present at the beginning of the season as the big question was: Could the Stars repeat?
Metro Fighting Moose will have a new addition to Its coaching staff for the 2009-2010 season. Charles Crispino formerly of Wagner College (ACHA Div II) has decided to join forces with Coach John Vosilla to coach the 2009-2010 Jr. C Selects team.
The team will consist of 13 forwards, 7 defensemen and 2 goaltenders that will make a commitment towards hockey and academic excellence. The successful candidates will begin an intense training regimen that will begin shortly after being accepted as part of the team. Five alternate players will also be selected.
